RULE 11 - SUSPENSION OF RULES

Latest version.

Any Councillor asking for suspension of a Council rule shall identify that rule which he seeks to suspend. No Council rule shall be suspended unless at least six members of the Council consent thereto. No suspension shall be allowed on any rule which prohibits suspension or requires a specific Council vote of more than six members.
No committee shall be discharged of a matter pending before that committee unless six or more members of the Council consent thereto.
