If unapproved work is carried out in the Historic District, the owner of the property involved shall be held responsible. Violations of the Prospect Hill Historic District Ordinance shall result in a letter of warning being sent to the owner with copies to the City Council and Building Commissioner. If the owner, owner's agent, or lessee continues to violate the provisions of Chapter 40C, these Rules and Regulations, or the decisions of this Committee, resort shall be made to fines or injunctions, or both, as authorized in Section 13 of the Historic Districts Act, Chapter 40C, of the Massachusetts General Laws.
