§ 10.41.010. Purpose.

  • Any motor vehicle, used in the service of a registered religious corporation or religious association only, owned by such corporation, association or other religious organization that is based in the city, registered under the General Laws of the commonwealth and whose vehicle is principally used in in the services of a registered religious corporation or religious association in the city, shall be eligible for a clergy parking placard issued by this chapter. A vehicle must be registered in Massachusetts, principally garaged in, insured in, and paying excise tax to the commonwealth. In addition to the above requirements, the operator/owner must have a valid Massachusetts operator's license. Any changes/alterations on operator's license or vehicle registration must be validated by a registry of motor vehicles stamp. Other types of changes are not acceptable.
